Guiding the Next Generation of Professional Leaders

BRIDGETON, N.J. – CompleteCare Health Network is proud to announce the launch of CompleteCare Compass, a new eight-week paid summer internship program that provides local students with meaningful, hands-on healthcare experience while preparing them for future careers and leadership opportunities.

The inaugural class includes high school juniors and seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students from Cumberland, Gloucester, and Cape May Counties who are interested in exploring careers in healthcare and community service. Throughout the summer, interns will gain real-world experience in departments such as medical, dental, community service & outreach, administration, behavioral health, information technology, and other areas that support CompleteCare’s mission of improving lives through accessible, high-quality healthcare.

Participants will work alongside experienced professionals, receive one-on-one mentorship from organizational leaders, and develop practical workplace, leadership, and communication skills that will serve them throughout their educational and professional journeys.

CompleteCare Compass was created to introduce students to the many rewarding career opportunities available in community healthcare while providing a structured and enriching summer experience that keeps young people engaged, learning, and connected to their communities.

“At CompleteCare, we believe that developing the next generation of leaders is just as important as delivering quality healthcare today,” said James Curtis Edwards, President and Chief Executive Officer of CompleteCare Health Network. “CompleteCare Compass provides students with the opportunity to spend their summer gaining valuable experience, building professional relationships, and discovering careers that can make a lasting difference in the lives of others. By investing in our youth today, we are strengthening the future healthcare workforce and helping build healthier, stronger communities across South Jersey.”

CompleteCare Compass reflects CompleteCare Health Network’s ongoing commitment to workforce development and community investment. By providing local students with meaningful career exposure close to home, the organization is cultivating a pipeline of future healthcare professionals and community leaders who understand the importance of serving the communities in which they live.

As CompleteCare Health Network continues to expand access to comprehensive healthcare throughout South Jersey, programs like CompleteCare Compass demonstrate its commitment to investing not only in the health of today’s patients, but also in the leaders who will shape the future of healthcare for generations to come.
