Preceding graduation from University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres in Canada with a bachelor of science in Medical Biology, Dr. Dungasi graduated in 2004 as Dental Medicine Doctor (DMD) at University of Montreal in Canada. He completed in 2005 a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University/Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York and in 2006 he completed a second year General Practice Residency (Chief Resident) at St- Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. Dr. Dungasi has completed an MBA in Health Care Management at Western Governors University (Utah, USA) in 2017.

Dr. Dungasi is currently pursuing a master degree in Public health at American Public University (West Virginia, USA) to be completed in 2021. Dr. Dungasi was awarded the Research award by St Barnabas Hospital in 2006 and the Benjamin Franklin award by CompleteCare in 2010. 

He is an active member of National Network for Oral health Access (NNOHA) and American Association of Public Health Dentistry.  His interest areas in dentistry include general dentistry, oral surgery, oral medicine, pediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry, preventive dentistry, and dental practice management.
