Legends 2019 Nominees to Be Honored for Community Impact

The Cumberland County Legends committee is pleased to announce its honorees for the 2019 Cumberland County Legends event to be held on March 30, 2019 at The Grove at Centerton in Pittsgrove, NJ.

Legends has a history of honoring individuals who have made a lasting impact across the Cumberland County area.  The 2019 honorees are:  Mr. Paul J. Ritter III, Dr. Satish Shah and Jennifer Webb-McCrae. The honorees have been carefully chosen by the committee for their unwavering dedication to the county and their contributions to making it a better place to live and work.

The Cumberland County Legends event will be a great evening with dinner, basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle and music. The event will benefit the CompleteCare Family Health Foundation, the foundation arm of CompleteCare Health Network.  Since 1973, CompleteCare has provided hundreds of thousands of underserved patients with high-quality, affordable and accessible health care throughout Cumberland, Cape May, and Gloucester counties.  The foundation works to support programs of the organization such as, Smile Smart, which provides comprehensive dental exams to low-income children, Baby Love, which helps moms-to-be stay active in their prenatal care to achieve better birth outcomes, and many other programs.

“We are thrilled to once again be the benefactor of this event,” said Karla Laws, Director of the CompleteCare Family Health Foundation. “Because of the overwhelming support for our honorees last year, we were able to provide the needed resources to support many of the programs throughout our network, such as Reach out and Read, Baby Love and Smile Start.  We would like to expand our reach in the future to continue to meet the growing needs of our community.”

The Cumberland County Legends Committee is currently seeking sponsors and volunteers. If you would like to help support this important cause you can contact Karla Laws at 856-451-4700 x2071. Tickets will go on sale in February at the cost of $50.
