CompleteCare Family Health Foundation Announces 2019 Bone Run Winners

CompleteCare Family Health Foundation Announces 2019 Bone Run Winners

(October 29, 2019, South Jersey) – The CompleteCare Family Health Foundation hosted their first Halloween Bone Run on Saturday, October 19, 2019 after taking the 15-year-old event over from the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey earlier this year.

The race attracted over 300 participants with 224 runners and 95 walkers completing the 5k race or 1-mile walk. The race was highlighted by a visit from the Philly Phanatic, as well as a Health Fair featuring local health and community organizations.

On top of the great turnout, the Halloween Bone Run raised over $33,000 for the CompleteCare Family Health Foundation, the fundraising arm of CompleteCare Health Network. Proceeds from the event will help support the many important programs and services CompleteCare provides in addition to high-quality healthcare. These include Baby Love, a program for expectant moms; Reach Out & Read, which promotes childhood literacy; Health Solutions, a program that facilitates provider and dental visits for children, and more.

The 2019 Bone Run was sponsored by Atlantic Medical Imaging, Vineland Municipal Utilities, Gaines Electric, TJD Architects & Engineers, The Good Life Chiropractic Center, Horizon NJ Health, Gateway Community Action Partnership, Foot Health Centers, PA, Hardenbergh Insurance Group, Servpro of Cape May County, Century Bank, and WHIBCO of New Jersey, Inc.
