In an effort to work with schools to better address the special health care needs of students, CompleteCare has developed a school services program that includes school-based health centers in four local schools in addition to transportation to services from schools without a health center on site. These services offer students access to primary medical, dental and behavioral health care so they can spend more time learning and less time out of school at doctor’s appointments. CompleteCare’s School Services program works directly with School Nurses and parents to ensure that students receive care that is both thorough and convenient.

 

Smile Smart

CompleteCare makes it possible for children in area schools and day-cares to receive dental care through their Smile Smart program. Since 2005, Smile Smart has been providing uninsured children with comprehensive dental health services such as dental exams, cleanings, preventive fluoride treatments and sealants. The program works directly with school systems, day cares and summer camps and provides transportation to and from dental appointments all while maintaining close communication with parents.
