Gil Walter

Following graduation from Indiana University with a BA in English, Mr. Walter served in the US Peace Corps in Brazil. As a young man he worked as a manager of inner-city youth employment and training programs in Chicago, completed a Master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of the Americas in Mexico and began his career in health care as the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Migrant Health Program. He completed an MPH in Health Care Administration at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and has served for 34 years in leadership roles in Community and Migrant Health Center organizations in Wisconsin, Florida, California and New Jersey.

 

Gil has been President and CEO of CompleteCare since August 2000. He presently serves as president of the Bridgeton Rotary Luncheon Club; as a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Bayshore Discover Project (NJ Tallship Crew) and is active on the Board of the Bridgeton Police Athletic League. Gil is also Vice President of the Bridgeton Main Street Association. He serves on the Mayor's Campaign for Healthier Bridgeton and on the boards of the New Jersey Primary Care Association and the National Center for Farmworker Health. Gil is a previous member of the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health, the National Association of Community Health Centers Board of Directors, and has served as Chairperson of its Farmworker Health Committee.

 

In 2004, Gil was awarded a National Health Center Leadership A ward for Distinguished health services to migrant farmworkers. In 2006, he won 1st place in the Cumberland County "Dancing with the Stars" Ballroom Dancing Contest and in 2007 he won the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Volunteer of the Year Award.

Cheryl Ohmert

Cheryl ensures the smooth operation of CompleteCare, including direct patient services, human resources oversight, and leadership of the clinical service team managers. As VP of Operations she has extensive leadership and medical office management experience and human resources training, as well as thirteen years experience in CompleteCare administrative leadership roles. Cheryl’s position uniquely includes human resources responsibility for all employees which provides the recruiting, training, evaluation support for the medical and dental center managers and their support staff and conducts compensation and employee satisfaction surveys and oversees personnel policy development and compliance. Most importantly she motivates and develops employees and directs them on a daily basis while identifying the best people for the job!
Robert Moran

Robert came to CHCI seven years ago after completing an MBA in Health Administration. As CompleteCare’s Compliance and Safety Officer, Mr. Moran oversees implementation of the CompleteCare environment of care polices and other Joint Commission and State licensing regulations. Bob is responsible for facility and equipment planning, licensing and maintenance and security contracts. He has been provided with extensive workshop exposure in migrant health services, Joint Commission accreditation and Emergency/Terrorist Response and has become a recognized leader in these critical areas of FQHC performance.
James Edwards

Preceding graduation from Rowan University with a BA in Business Administration, Mr. Edwards served in the U.S. NAVY in San Diego, CA. After Honorable discharge from the NAVY Mr. Edwards completed a Masters degree in Business Administration at Wilmington College in Wilmington, DE. During James’s six years as the Director of Community Services now VP of Community Services and Government Relations, he is responsible for overseeing outreach services, collaborating and building relationships with local community agencies, school administration, and faith based entities, affordable housing mangers and businesses, guaranteeing community residents are aware of all services offered at ComplteeCare. Mr. Edwards is very active in his community and has many civic responsibilities including: serving as the Chairperson for the Mayor’s Campaign for Healthier Millville and Cape May Court House, Vice-President for the Bridgeton Board of Education, Secretary for Tri-County Community Action Partnership, and an active member on the Nehemiah Coalition, Human Services Advisory Council & Bridgeton Rotary Club. Mr. Edwards was awarded the MCN 2009 Unsung Hero Award for distinguished dedication to migrant health.

Cheryl Bettigole, MD, MPH

Dr. Bettigole received her doctorate in medicine from Thomas Jefferson University and has a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins. In addition to over 12 years of experience as a Family Practice physician, Dr. Bettigole also brings with her a passion for ensuring that quality, compassionate healthcare is accessible for all who need it. Previous to her arrival at CompleteCare, Dr. Bettigole served as Clinical Director and Consultant for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health where she designed and implemented a pilot chronic disease management project and oversaw an interpreter program that doubled the access for non-English speaking patients. While her career has been focused in Philadelphia, Dr. Bettigole is no stranger to South Jersey or Complete Care’s work. In 1992, she worked for CompleteCare when it was known as Bridgeton Area Health Services. During that time, her efforts in Cumberland County focused on working in migrant camps to ensure that the farmworkers and their families were receiving proper medical care. In addition to her executive role, Dr. Bettigole will see patients at CompleteCare Medical & Dental Professionals in Millville.
Dr. Kimberly Benberry

Graduate of Howard University Dental School, Dr. Benberry has nine years clinical experience at CompleteCare. She has both clinical leadership and administrative responsibilities similar to those of the Chief Medical Officer. She sits on the steering committee of NJ Loan Redemption Program and is a member of the Medical and Dental Directors committee of the NJ Primary Care Association.
Colleen DiClaudio

Colleen DiClaudio has worked with Federally Qualified Health Centers for the last five years in an executive capacity.  She has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and has worked with the medically underserved for the last eight years. Mrs. DiClaudio is responsible for successful management of the patient eligibility and enrollment claims management services, grant management, supervision of the accounts receivable team, pharmacy services, and FQHC billing, collection and coding. She is actively involved in the Glassboro Community and is the current Vice President for the Board of Health.

Tracy joined CompleteCare in September 1998 – accruing over 12 years experience in the Information Systems Department and  holding a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Rowan University.  She has overseen the IT needs of CompleteCare as it has grown from a 2 location practice to currently having over 15 networked sites – providing an IT infrastructure that has grown over 5 times its original capacity.  Among many other duties, she is responsible for system administration of CompleteCare’s Practice Management and Electronic Health Records, data aggregation and reporting, and is a Board member for EMRX – a South Jersey Regional Health Information Organization, as well as part of NJPCA’s Health Information Technology (HIT) Task Force.

Richard Elwell

Richard Elwell became the Director of School Services in January 2010 after a year as Director of School Based Programs.  His position is responsible for budgetary, programmatic and staff oversight of our four School Based sites.  He is also responsible for identifying populations of children in need of medical, dental or behavioral health care in our service area and ensuring their access to the necessary services.  Mr. Elwell is also active in the community and is a founding board member of the Bridgeton Area Police Athletic League and serves on both the fundraising and activity committees.  He is also a member of the Bridgeton Exchange Club and chairs the community service committee.

Emily RosenBerg

As Director of Public Relations and Development, Emily handles all media communications and grant writing for CompleteCare. Her position also oversees advertising, brand management and electronic communications including CompleteCare’s website and social media presence. Emily works closely with the Vice President of Community Services and Government Relations to create marketing campaigns that target the populations that CompleteCare would like to reach. Emily previously held the position of Marketing Manager for Media Communications at United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, one of the largest nonprofits in the Philadelphia Metro Area. While at United Way, Emily’s public relations and social media work focused on promoting giving, advocacy and volunteerism as a means to improve education for children, income for families and health for seniors. Emily received her degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has run 10 marathons on her way to her goal of 50. Emily is originally from Cape May Court House and now resides in South Dennis, NJ with her family.
