Major Function:  Answers health centers telephones and transfers call and takes appropriate                   messages

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Medical background a plus


Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to use multi-line telephone and headset.




Job Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Answers all incoming calls for the organization while utilizing proper phone etiquette.
  • Confirms appointments, if automation fails from call list
  • Perform two weekly patient satisfaction phone surveys
  • Respond and schedule appointments using appropriate guidelines according to the patients’ needs via phone, electronic appt. requests
  • Transferring of calls to the appropriate destination as needed
